Summary
Ringtape does not send any personal data to the developer or to third parties. What you make is stored only on your iPhone.
Audio, video and photos
When you pick a video, song or audio file, or record with the microphone, Ringtape processes it only on your device to cut and export a ringtone. Files are never uploaded. Ringtape can read only the items you choose in the system picker. Microphone access is used only while you are recording.
Purchases
Ringtape Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email or payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device (StoreKit) to unlock Pro features.
Analytics, ads and tracking
Ringtape has no analytics SDK, no advertising and no tracking across apps or websites. The app keeps a local event log in its own storage on your iPhone (app launches, import and export results and timings, paywall and purchase outcomes, tap counts). It contains no audio and no file names, is never sent anywhere, and is removed when you delete the app.
Data on your device
The ringtones you make and your app settings are saved in the app's storage on your iPhone. Deleting a ringtone in the app, or deleting the app, removes them. App data may be included in your iPhone backups, which you manage in iOS Settings.
Children
Ringtape does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
